White Flag
Never try to raid a tribe that has a white flag (bubble). While you have a flag, you can't raid anyone until it expires or you ask for it to be removed. Got wiped? You can request a new flag to rebuild. Questions? Ask first.
INo mesh or mesh-viewing bases
No building inside, under or behind terrain or mesh to make a base inaccessible or overly protected. No structures in unintended mesh locations.
Bases can't be built or placed so that anyone can see into or through the mesh. That includes structures, cracks, terrain gaps, or any build trick that gives an unintended view of players or bases through the map.
IINo mesh or forcefield raiding
Raiding is part of the game, but you have to win it fairly. Using bugs, glitches, or map and structure weaknesses to get around defenses is banned everywhere on the cluster.
- Meshing: clipping through walls, floors, ceilings, cliffs or terrain, whether with dinos, structures or players.
- Forcefield abuse: using Tek Forcefields on dinos to push into a base, or to block or break turrets.
- Structure exploits: placement or snapping glitches used to get inside or damage a base without going through its defenses.
- Under-map / out of bounds: entering or attacking a base from below the map or from areas that aren't meant to be reachable.
- Turret and defense bugs: anything that disables, blinds or gets around defenses in ways they weren't built to handle.
IIINo cannon raiding
No cannon raiding player structures. Cannons are fine in normal PvP against players, tames and real defenses, but not for knocking down structures from an unintended or safe spot.
IVNo Fortnite or platform builds
No spam-building walls or barriers around yourself or another player mid-fight. Normal building for a real project is fine.
Platform saddles, rafts and similar must keep at least one side completely open. No fully enclosed platforms used as mobile bases.
VDon't bully Bobs or spawn camp
If you're Tek tier, don't attack players who aren't, unless they attack you first. Don't build at spawns, spawn-kill new players, or put turrets in the water along the beach.
VINo unraidable or exploit bases
Don't design a base around an exploit, an unintended mechanic, a clipping issue or map geometry to make it effectively impossible to raid. Not sure if a build is legal? Ask an admin before you build it.
VIINo structure spam
Leave gaps, checker it (within reason), build in strips, or leave a 4×4 section out. Don't spam gateways or behemoth gateways, or your tribe will get a limit on them.
VIIINo blocking
Don't intentionally block another tribe's base, entrance and so on.
IXNo exploit abuse
Any map, creature, structure, item or game exploit that gives an unintended advantage is banned. Found one? Report it instead of using it.
XAdmin discretion
If a build follows the wording of a rule but clearly breaks its intent, admins can make you change or remove it. "The rules don't say I can't" is not a defense for obvious exploits. Use common sense.
One wipe per week
Don't raid the same person over and over, and don't wipe more than one tribe per week.
If you wipe someone and they harass you afterwards, you may wipe them too, even if you've already wiped a tribe that week.
Break this rule and your base will be given to the tribes you wronged.
"Raiding is fine, but wiping everyone on the cluster will kill it, and then no one can have fun."
No "Human" names
No Human, Human 1, Humane, Humano and so on. If we see one, we'll rename you to whatever we like.
Same name everywhere
Use the same survivor name and tribe name on every server.
Visit your stuff
Anything left alone for more than a week gets removed for server stability, unless you're active or it's a known outpost. Check on your spots every few days.
Community conduct
This Discord is here for fun. If someone bothers you: block them, keep any arguments in the trash-talk channel, and open a ticket if they break a rule. Staff will kick people who bring them petty squabbles.
Harassment
Strictly banned: sexual harassment, racism, sexism, hate speech, homophobia, bringing up family or children, and any other offensive or disruptive behavior. Direct messages are not moderated.
Content
No nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, illegal activity or otherwise inappropriate material.
Impersonation
Don't impersonate anyone: AEON admins, Discord staff, developers, members or public figures.
Spam
Spam is not allowed.
Common sense
Staff can act on harmful or disruptive behavior even if it isn't listed here. See something shady? Tag @admin.
- Follow all rules. Admins can take action at any time.
- You're responsible for you: your behavior, actions and messages, in game and in chat.
- Liability waiver. AEON staff and owners are not responsible for your actions, for damage done to you by other users, or for anything that happens in game or in chat.
- Age requirement. You confirm you are 18 or older.
- Content disclaimer. This is a mature, community-run space. Staff moderate within reason, and you join at your own risk.
- Acceptance. By taking part you confirm you've read, understood and accepted this agreement, including current and future rules. Rules can change at any time, and staying means you accept the changes. Admin and moderator decisions are final.
Penalties
Admins can skip straight to a ban for extreme violations.
